Library Virtual Summer Reading Program

The Brussels Library 2021 Virtual Summer Reading Program, “Reading Colors Your World” kicks off on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 and runs for eight weeks through Wednesday, August 11, 2021.  This year’s theme explores the creative, colorful sides of nature, art, culture, and storytelling.  All ages from pre-reader through adult are welcome to sign up.   

Brussels Library offers four fun ways to take part in this summer’s virtual reading program: 

• Register, log reading minutes, try virtual activities, and write book reviews to earn virtual badges and weekly prizes.  Every virtual badge completed also earns a virtual ticket for Grand Finale Prize drawings.  To sign up, click "Register Now!"

• Tune into the Brussels Facebook page for Virtual Story Time.   

• On Wednesdays, join Brussels Library staff live on the Brussels Facebook page for instructions on a “Take and Make” craft kit. 

• On Thursdays, stop by the USAG Brussels Gazebo from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm to pick up “Take and Make” craft kits, prizes and colorful limited edition buttons and magnets.  Participants are also welcome to schedule an appointment to pick up these items in the Brussels Library.
