April is the Month of the Military Child, a time to honor the resilience and sacrifice of children in military families. As part of this celebration, the Army's Child and Youth Services (CYS) and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) have a special program called Operation Megaphone.

Operation Megaphone is a 24-hour worldwide event that connects military youth from all service branches. It provides a unique platform for 6th to 12th graders to discuss important issues that affect their lives. These discussions cover the unique challenges and experiences of growing up in a military family.
